Upon initial login to the Outlook Windows application, an error message appears: "Something went wrong, preventing Outlook from setting up your account. Retry; if the issue persists, contact your email administrator."
To resolve this:
- Choose "Change account settings."
- Opt for "Microsoft 365."
- Enter your email address (F.lastname@coasthotels.com) and the corresponding desktop/laptop user password.
- Post entering the password, Microsoft 365 will prompt for alternative verification via text to your cell number or Microsoft Authentication App on your smartphone.
- This step ensures account security and registration on the Windows profile.
- Upon completion, launch Outlook Apps to confirm successful profile provisioning.
