Merging Profiles:
- Merge in TC
- For profiles to merge in TC, the following must match (this system is very sensitive, so the information has to be exactly the same):
- First and Last Name
- Street Address
- When merging, follow these steps:
- Ensure all information match
- Click on Merge Profile
- Click Next
- Select the correct information you would like to keep (either select one profile, or select details on each profile)
- Click Finish
- To verify, search the guest's first and last name again, and there should only be on profile remaining
- For profiles to merge in TC, the following must match (this system is very sensitive, so the information has to be exactly the same):
Merging CR accounts:
- The easiest and quickest way to do this is to ensure that all profiles have been merged
- If all profiles are merged, any duplicate CR accounts should show up on the drop-down
- To merge, follow these steps:
- Go on the CR account you would like to get rid of
- Click Merge Membership
- Input the CR number you would like to keep and click Find Member
- A recap screen will pop up. Confirm the information. Click Merge
- If successfully merged, the account you wanted to get rid of will show up as inactive the points and nights would have been transferred to the account you want to keep
Recreating CR Accounts:
- Sometimes, instead of a CR number, a username will appear in TravelClick
- We must have a CR number for every guest, and so if this occurs, we need create a new number
- To create a new number, follow these steps:
- Create a new profile in HC
- Ensure that all information match the guest's current profile except for the email address
- Use a dummy email - typically, we use guestinitials@coasthotels.com (for example: kr@coasthotels.com)
- Use the ZDirect Button to populate new CR number using this new account
- Once you have a new CR number
- Merge the profiles in TC (please see above)
- Merge the CR accounts in TC (please see above)
- Reset login using the correct guest email address
- Create a new profile in HC
